Training Program

When new staff members are employed by Tidy MT, they are paired up with an existing team member to access their skill level, and to ensure they have the required “Can Do” attitude to provide our high level of service.  The Business Owner will also monitor their skill level and will determine if additional training is required.

Company Inductions are mandatory, and are used to explain Tidy MT’s commitment to safety in the workplace.  Other topic included at induction area:

• Chemical use, handling and storage
• Equipment use and handling
• Safety Procedures
• Uniform requirements
• Correct work flow
• Location of fire extinguishers/hoses
• Means of Escape – exits, fire stairs and rules of keeping them clear
• No smoking rules
• Security Procedures

Our on site training is more focused towards actual procedure and process.  We work with our staff on areas such as:

• Outlining specific roles and responsibilities
• Stripping and Sealing Procedures
• Window cleaning techniques
• How to focus on attention to detail
• Customer Interaction
• Personal Protective Equipment
• Lifting and Handling
• Hazards associated with work tasks
